Revenge Sleep at Weekend Again Proved Disturb Health
Weekend is in sight, many people start planning for revenge
sleep all day. Be careful, research reveals the dangers that lurk behind this
bad habit.
Recent research presented at the Associated Professional
Sleep Societies reveals a risk to people who stay up late, then take revenge by
sleeping all day on weekends. They experience what is called social jet lag.
Shifting sleep patterns on weekends, if it happens
constantly will increase the risk of heart disease. Each 1 hour sleep time is
shifted, the risk is increased to 11 percent.
In addition, irregular sleep patterns over the weekend are
also associated with decreased quality of life. People with a messy sleep
pattern had an increased risk of 28 percent to become unhealthy overall.

study does not further explore the causal relationship. But it is believed that
the quantity of sleep alone is not enough, but must be supported with good
sleep patterns and regular.
