Strange Trends in Japan, Men Wear Nipple Plasters for Dating



Plaster cover nipples are commonly used men to avoid blisters when running long distances. But the use of nipple plasters by men lately has another purpose.

A depot sports retailer, Dot Store reported a tremendous increase in the sale of one of its products namely nipple plaster. More than 55,000 units have been sold this year, already exceeding last year's sales figures. This increase is believed to be associated with a unique plaster nipple ad. The ad featured a man dating in a restaurant, then his partner looked 'ilfeel' (ilang feeling) when he saw the man's nipple protruding from his thin shirt.




Quoted from Dailymail, a 2013 study revealed that 84 percent of Japanese felt disgusted when they saw a man's nipples protrude from behind his clothes. Plaster that is usually used to prevent blisters when running, used to improve the appearance when dating. In women, the use of plaster to prevent nongol nipple is already commonly used. Actress Rihanna, Pamela Anderson, Lady Gaga, and Nicki Minaj have been seen using such plaster in her nipples.
